The DJI Mini 5 Pro is almost ready to take off. With DJI expected to begin teasing its new drone this week, a renowned leaker has provided a fresh look at the new 1-inch camera drone ahead of time.

The first official teaser related to DJI's next consumer drone is due later today. In the meantime, Jasper Ellens has got his hands on new images of the Mini 5 Pro, including one that will likely adorn DJI's website on launch day.

Embedded below, the image includes the tagline 'Pro in Mini', which we suspect will feature heavily across DJI's promotional materials. While this image emphasises the drone's design, additional images provide a closer look at the Mini 5 Pro's new camera hardware.

For context, DJI includes a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor inside the Mini 4 Pro (curr. $759 on Amazon). By contrast, Ellens' latest leaked images highlight that the Mini 5 Pro jumps to a new 1-inch type sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 24 mm equivalent focal length.

Currently, the Mini 5 Pro is expected to debut on September 16 globally. Based on previous leaks, DJI's next consumer drone will reach the Eurozone and the UK for €799 and £689, respectively. Unfortunately, there is no indication that DJI will be offering the Mini 5 Pro in the US, as has been the case with many of the company's other recent releases.
