Casio launches new Yosemite-inspired Pro Trek watch with chunky metal bezel

Casio has unveiled the new Pro Trek PRW-B1000B-2 watch in Japan. Scheduled for release in the coming weeks, this new model has been inspired by Yosemite National Park in the United States.
The Pro Trek PRW-B1000B-2 is designed for lovers of the outdoors, with features like Location Indicator, automatic altitude adjustments and Tough Solar charging. It is a Triple Sensor model with a compass, a barometer/altimeter and a thermometer. Plus, a combination of radio control (Multiband 6) and Bluetooth connectivity ensures that the time is always accurate. It is marketed as water resistant to 100 m and low-temperature resistant, operating at temperatures as cold as -10°C (~14°F).
Casio’s Pro Trek PRW-B1000B-2 is a blue-tone watch with a chunky stainless steel bezel in blue-gray, and a patterned dial mimicking a rock face. The watch has a flame-retardant resin casing measuring 50.8 x 45.8 x 14.9 mm (~2.0 x 1.80 x 0.59 inches) and is accompanied by a Cordura strap.
In Japan, the Casio Pro Trek PRW-B1000B-2 watch is set to be launched at some point in April 2026 with a ¥89,100 (~$561) RRP. This model has also been listed on the brand’s international website, pointing to a wider rollout in the near future. Given that it celebrates the Yosemite National Park, it seems likely that it could be released in the US, where you can already buy models like the PRW-B1000-1 (curr. $456.68 at Amazon).
