Casio launching two new affordable MRW-230H series watches

Casio is expected to launch two new MRW-230H watches imminently. This model, described by the company as “a marine-inspired analog watch”, launched in early 2025 in three colorways.

Now, Vietnamese retailer Bello has unveiled two more versions of the Casio watch: the MRW-230H-1E4 and the MRW-230H-2E. While the former has a black dial and a black and orange aluminum bezel, the latter has a dark blue dial with a matching metal bezel. Both are accompanied by black resin straps, with the watches measuring 47.9 x 44.6 x 12.3 mm (~1.89 x 1.76 x 0.48 inches) and weighing 39 g (~1.38 oz). Images of these upcoming watches can be found on the retailer’s blog.

Casio’s MRW-230H has three analog hands, said to remain accurate to within 20 seconds each month, and a basic day/date display. A more unusual feature is its rotating timer bezel, and it is also marketed as water resistant to 100 m. According to Casio, it should run for around three years on a SR626SW battery.

The Casio MRW-230H-1E4 and MRW-230H-2E watches are expected to launch in Japan in April 2026. In Vietnam, these affordable products are set to retail for 1,553,000 VND (~$59), arriving before the end of May 2026. It remains to be seen whether or when the watches could arrive in countries like the US and Germany, where you can buy older colorways like the blue and red MRW-230H-1E2V (curr. €49.90 at Casio DE).
