Casio has officially opened pre-orders for the full-metal GMC-B2100ADS-1AJF, priced at ¥107,800 (~$679). Launching in April 2026, it brings stainless steel construction, Tough Solar, and Bluetooth features to the B2100 line.

After its initial reveal, Casio has officially added a new full-metal model to its growing G-Shock lineup, with the GMC-B2100ADS-1AJF now officially listed in Japan and available for pre-order. The watch is scheduled for release in April 2026, with a retail price of ¥107,800 (~$679).

This model comes with the classic octagonal B2100 design but has a full-metal construction. The case and bracelet are stainless steel, with a mix of brushed and polished finishes. Casio states that it was constructed using a multi-step process involving forging, cutting, and polishing to shape the bezel, with a circular hairline finish on top and mirror finishing along the slopes.

The watch measures 51.3 × 46.3 × 12.4 mm and weighs 171 grams, putting it on the heavier side compared to resin B2100 models. It keeps G-Shock's shock-resistant structure. Plus, there's internal cushioning to offset impacts despite the full-metal build. Water resistance is rated at 20 bar.

On the dial, the design consists of a monochrome silver base with black subdials. It’s a pretty busy layout, with three subdials handling functions like stopwatch tracking and mode indication. The watch includes standard features such as world time, a 1-second stopwatch with split timing, a 24-hour timer, and daily alarms. There’s also a white LED backlight with afterglow.

Bluetooth connectivity is included too. Users can pair their watches with the Casio Watches app for automatic time correction, world time for around 300 cities, and phone finder functionality. Power comes from Casio’s Tough Solar system, with a stated runtime of around five months on full charge, extending to roughly 18 months in power-saving mode.

For what it offers, the GMC-B2100ADS is an interesting launch. The added weight and polished finishing should give it a lot of presence on the wrist, though it may not appeal to buyers who prefer the lighter, more casual feel of resin models.

Pre-orders are now live, with availability expected next month. Alternatively, you can check out the Casio GMW-B5000-D1 on Amazon.
