The Casio G-Shock Mr-G MRG-BF1000RG-3A Frogman watch is coming to more European countries. This premium wearable was launched in Japan in April and was then released in the UK earlier in May.
Now, Casio has listed the G-Shock MRG-BF1000RG-3A Goliath Frogman watch at its online stores in countries like the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. It is listed with a €4,900 price tag, making it cheaper than the older MRG-BF1000B-1A, which costs €5,800. There is no official launch date yet, with the product marked as “coming soon”. However, you can sign up to receive an email notification when the watch is released.
The Casio MRG-BF1000RG-3A is a diving watch with a design inspired by the goliath frog. It has a rust-resistant titanium casing with anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass, a khaki Dura Soft fluoro rubber strap, and is water resistant to 200 m. There is a Dive Mode, tracking your dive time and surface intervals. You can also monitor tide conditions, and a diving log can be accessed via the Casio Watches smartphone app when you connect your watch via Bluetooth.
On top of this, there is support for dual world time zones, a countdown timer, a stopwatch and a daily alarm. The watch has an LED backlight and Neobrite indexes, helping you read the display in low lighting. It also offers Tough Solar charging to extend the battery life. Whether or not the Casio G-Shock Mr-G MRG-BF1000RG-3A watch will launch in the US remains to be seen.
