The Casio LF-30W-1A has been listed at the brand’s online stores in more European countries. Four versions of the LF-30W series watch were spotted at retailers in April 2024, with Casio officially confirming the device on its UK website a few weeks later.
Casio will shortly sell the black LF-30W-1A watch in countries such as the Netherlands, Spain and Germany for €34.90. The product page states that this model is “coming soon”, though an exact release date is not indicated. However, you can sign up to receive an email notification when the watch is released. It is unclear whether the other colors, the LF-30W-2A (blue), the LF-30W-3A (green/khaki), and the LF-30W-8A (white/cream), will also launch here. They are all listed at the brand’s online store in the UK with a £29.90 RRP.
Casio’s LF-30W watch has a square display set in a rectangular resin casing measuring 37.8 x 33.7 x 8.6 mm (~1.5 x 1.3 x 0.3 inches). At the top left of the digital display, users can check the status of modes like mute, the alarm and hourly time signals. At the top right is a world map, indicating the area covered by the watch’s current time zone; you can save up to four cities to quickly switch between, selecting from a list of 48 cities. On the larger bottom section, the time, weekday, and date are shown.
Other features include an orange LED backlight, a 1/100th second stopwatch and a countdown timer with a 24-hour range. The LF-30W-1A is said to display time that is accurate to within 30 seconds each month and run for around three years on a CR1616 battery. Unfortunately, Casio has yet to announce any details of a US launch of the LF-30W watches.
