The Casio G-Shock GA-V01 watches are now available in European countries, including the UK, the Netherlands, and Spain. This new model debuted in China earlier in 2025 and was already tipped for release in various European markets.
The range includes four versions: the GA-V01-1A (matte black), the GA-V01-2A (blue-purple), the GA-V01A-8A (metallic silver) and the GA-V01-9A (neon yellow). In the UK, the Casio G-Shock GA-V01 watches retail for £119 each, and in the EU they are priced at €139 each.
Casio’s new GA-V01 has an unusual design, with a large 58.2 mm (~2.3 inches) wide case with shock-absorbing bumpers. This hybrid model has an analog dial, with the new magnetic Shock Release Hand, and two smaller inset digital displays. Features include a 1/100-second stopwatch, an up to 24-hour countdown timer and five daily alarms. Plus, this new model can show the day of the week.
According to Casio, the GA-V01 is water resistant to 200 m (~656 ft) and is expected to run for around 10 years on a single CR2025 battery. The Casio G-Shock GA-V01 is also available in Japan and was recently released in the US, where it retails for $140.
