A new Casio G-Shock GA-2100 watch designed in collaboration with graffiti artist Mooze is on the way to India. Also known as Mooz Grafitti, the artist is based in Mumbai. The company has announced this new variant on social media, where it has revealed the watch's design.
The new GA-2100 collaboration watch appears to have a black resin casing with a black watch face featuring subtle red, blue and yellow accents. Meanwhile, the strap, which also seems to be made from resin, has a bold black and red design. On one side are the words "Shock Ok Please" on a tiger-striped background, with the other side showing the artist's tag and an image of a tiger.
Images of this new 2100 series hybrid watch confirm that it is shock-resistant and water-resistant to 20 bar. There is a smaller inset digital dial, where you can view the time in a city of your choice, and a dial on the left-hand side indicates the day of the week. Tools are expected to include a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer, multiple daily alarms and an LED backlight.
The exact model number of this new Casio G-Shock GA-2100 collaboration watch has yet to be announced. It will first be unveiled at the G-Shock Connaught Place store in Delhi. However, it is unclear precisely when this new watch will launch or how much it will cost. It is unlikely that it will reach other markets like the US; the older GA2100-1A1 is currently available at Amazon for $87.90.
