Capcom has already confirmed that there are more Resident Evil titles coming. Yasuhiro Anpo, director of Resident Evil 4 remake, told IGN last year that there were more remakes on the way.
"We've released three remakes so far and they have all been received very well," said Anpo. "Since it allows a modern audience to play these games, it is something I am happy to do as someone that loves these older games, and we want to continue doing more."
According to rumors reported by Bloody Disgusting, Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine will team up for Resident Evil 9. Series heartthrob Chris Redfield will return as a supporting character, along with Barry Burton, who debuted in the very first Resident Evil game in 1996.
