Just ahead of its release on January 7 at 3 p.m. (ECT), Chocolate Factory Simulator, developed by Games Incubator and published in partnership with PlayWay S.A., has claimed the top spot on Steam’s "Popular Upcoming" list. This success is likely due to its free prologue, which has already garnered over 200 reviews with an impressive 91% positive rating.
In Chocolate Factory Simulator, players step into the shoes of a chocolatier, guided by a friendly robot assistant named Nougat. Set in a steampunk workshop buzzing with gears and steam-powered machines, the game tasks you with designing, producing and delivering chocolate treats to customers with diverse tastes.
Players can personalize the chocolate’s shape, color and packaging, catering to customers with distinct preferences and personalities, each presenting unique challenges. The robot assistant, Nougat, aids in production and can be upgraded in various ways to enhance efficiency.
Support for the Steam Deck (available on Amazon for $533) remains uncertain, though the prologue is marked as "playable," suggesting a high likelihood of compatibility. Chocolate Factory Simulator usually costs $20 on Steam. If you are still undecided, you can first take a look at the free demo.
