Following various conferences held in June, such as the Xbox Showcase and Summer Game Fest, a major Japanese company has recently made a new announcement. A new Capcom Spotlight will take place on June 26, and big names in the video game industry are expected to attend this conference, which will last over 40 minutes.
So, the party never ends if you're a fan of the world of video games, especially those from Capcom, which has several major titles such as the Resident Evil, Street Fighter, and Monster Hunter franchises. However, considering the recent announcements made at the last conferences, it's best not to expect big news, but rather updates.
Nevertheless, many video games will be presented at this conference. Street Fighter 6 and the first fighter of Year 3, named Sagat, in action, will be featured, as shown in the trailer.
In addition, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess will also be featured during this showcase. However, it seems difficult to predict what will be said about it, given that it is already available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2. It would therefore be best to expect updates to its content.
Resident Evil Requiem will also be featured at Capcom Spotlight, but we'll have to hope for new announcements that differ from those already made at Summer Game Fest 2025. It's also worth noting that PRAGMATA will be presented from a different angle at this conference alongside its developers, which will give us a better understanding of the game's universe.
There is a big surprise in store for this Capcom Spotlight. Onimusha: Way of the Sword seems strangely absent from the list of games featured, which may disappoint some fans. But don't despair, as it will be present at Gamescom, which will take place from Wednesday, August 20 to Sunday, August 24.
