Seven years ago, Bethesda revealed The Elder Scrolls 6 to the world, and since then, no more news has been revealed. However, this new game could well spring a surprise at Xbox Showcase 2025.
Indeed, this week's conferences, such as Summer Game Fest, failed to live up to gamers' expectations. And while Resident Evil 9 and Atomic Heart 2 were announced, there were no major surprises. So gamers will be looking forward to the Xbox Showcase 2025, and The Elder Scrolls 6 could well be there.
And this may seem surprising. Especially when you consider that this game won't be available for some time yet on PC and console, and that Bethesda teams are still working on Starfield to release new DLC as well as a PS5 port.
However, according to Jez Corden's sources, the studio's teams could be in for a surprise at Xbox Showcase 2025. In fact, he has begun to hear rumors about The Elder Scrolls 6: “I have the impression that more and more people at Microsoft are aware of this, which makes me think that a trailer is being made in-house”.
In other words, Bethesda could deliver a first official trailer for this new game so eagerly awaited by fans of this universe at the forthcoming conference. But it's worth noting that this is unlikely to happen, so we'll have to wait until later in the year to get our first glimpse of the game.
Furthermore, according to the main rumors circulating on the Internet about the game's universe, the story will take place in Hammerfell, a region easily recognized by its mountains and arid deserts. Of course, all this should be taken with a degree of caution, as nothing official has yet been revealed, and we'll have to wait and see what Bethesda has to say on the subject, as may be the case this evening at Xbox Showcase 2025.
