Skyrim is unrecognizable with an RTX 5090 and more than 3,500 mods

Almost fifteen years after its release, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim continues to impress us thanks to the many mods available on the internet. But recently, Digital Dreams unveiled a stunning video on its YouTube channel, showing a breathtaking and unrecognizable game.

While recent mods have accustomed players to specific improvements, Digital Dreams decided to go one step further. With the help of an RTX 5090, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim runs in 8K at 60 FPS. And that's not all, as a total of 3,580 mods have been installed to give new life to this game. 

Thus, by watching this video, it is possible to see many improvements, such as the light, which is more realistic, but also the villages, which are more detailed. The environment is much more alive than before, and it makes you want to walk in this fantastic universe. Not to mention that water also benefits from a major improvement, especially if we focus on its reflections. 

However, while the result is breathtaking and resembles some of the titles being released today, it doesn't please everyone. Indeed, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has a huge community that remains nostalgic for the base game and seeing such improvements seems to distort it and remove some of its charm.  

But it should be noted that if graphically the game is beautiful, the animations and gameplay are unchanged. In other words, if you want to install mods on this game, you can always benefit from a gameplay of the time.
