Roborock presented a host of new products at CES 2026, including the flagship Saros 20 and Saros 20R, as well as the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow, which is the company’s first robot vacuum to feature a roller mop. The F25 Ace Pro wet/dry vacuum with foam cleaning and the RockMow X1 LiDAR – Roborock’s first lawnmower to drop real-time kinematic (RTK) – also made an appearance at the show.
If that lineup wasn't enough, even more exciting products were showcased in Las Vegas. The Saros Rover stands out as a particularly innovative model and is Roborock’s answer to the stair-climbing robots demonstrated by Dreame and Eufy at IFA 2025. However, the company appears to have taken a different approach to tackling stairs.
Rather than using continuous tracks like some of its competitors, the Roborock Saros Rover comes equipped with two extendable legs at its sides. According to an official demo, the legs are designed to lift the robot whilst maintaining balance and stability. Thanks to its self-balancing ability, the robovac shouldn’t topple over even when nudged. This dual-wheel-leg architecture also allows the robot to turn and perform small hops.
More crucially, the Saros Rover can move sideways along stairs by alternating between its two independently controllable legs, enabling it to actively clean each step.
Pricing and availability for the Roborock Saros Rover have yet to be announced.
