Vivo has started rolling out a major new update for the X200 Ultra. To recap, the company had been gradually improving the camera functionality of its most recent Ultra-branded smartphone for the Chinese version of OriginOS 6. With the advent of the X300 Pro, Vivo has now decided to upgrade the X200 Ultra again with PD2452C-A-16.1.13.1.W10.V000L1 based on Android 16.
As the screenshot below shows, the new update is a 1.54 GB download with over half a dozen overarching changes. Of the seven shown, three are dedicated to camera improvements. Arguably, the addition of Raw lighting is the biggest change. Previously only available on the X300 Pro, Raw lighting is designed to create a more realistic-looking image by minimising AI and HDR effects.
Additionally, Vivo has refined the teleconverter experience by adding extra filter styles and scenario-oriented modes. Moreover, the new update adds two-finger zoom gestures when using Stage Dual View. Typically, Vivo offers new updates in batches. Thus, it may take a few days before PD2452C-A-16.1.13.1.W10.V000L1 reaches all Vivo X200 Ultra handsets. Please see our review for a detailed look at Vivo's most recent Ultra-branded smartphone and how it stacks up against other contemporary flagships like the Find X8 Ultra and Galaxy S25 Ultra (curr. $1,049 on Amazon).
