Last year, Ayaneo announced a new budget subsidiary brand called Konkr. The unveiling of the brand happened alongside the launch of its first handheld, the Konkr Pocket Fit, an Android-powered 6-inch handheld. Now, it has announced the Konkr Fit as its second handheld under the Konkr brand, and unlike the Pocket Fit, this will run Windows out of the box.
The Konkr Fit isn't just a Windows version of the Konkr Pocket Fit but a different handheld. While the overall design has largely remained unchanged, there are some key differences.
For starters, it is larger, thanks to having a 7-inch OLED display, unlike the 6-inch LCD display of the Pocket Fit. That larger display seems to be the reason why Ayaneo decided to not include “Pocket” in its name.
Ayaneo has also revealed that the Konkr Fit will be powered by an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 processor, and it will draw juice from a pretty large 80Wh battery. For comparison, the Lenovo Legion Go S (available on Amazon for $652.78) has a 55.5Wh battery while the Legion Go 2 has a 74Wh battery. Unfortunately, the rest of the Konkr Fit's technical details are being kept under wraps.
The Konkr Fit will be available in Retro Gray (with red accents) and Yellow. Its button placements are the same as those of the Konkr Pocket Fit, and it features adjustable triggers and dual back buttons.
In addition, the Konkr Fit has a larger inlet vent on the back compared to the Konkr Pocket Fit. It also has two Type-C ports at the top which the Pocket Fit lacks. Another noticeable difference are the screws holding the backplate of the Konkr Fit in place.
There's no info yet on when the Konkr Fit will be released and how much it will cost. However, we can expect more sharing sessions in the future.
