Ayaneo is best known for its PC gaming handhelds. In recent years, the company has also moved into other markets, whether that be Android gaming handhelds or even the Pocket Play sliding smartphone. Additionally, Ayaneo has a nascent mini-PC line, which it has now complemented with the release of the AM03.
First teased in July 2025, the AM03 is Ayaneo's fourth mini-PC release after the AM01 (curr. $449 on Amazon), AM02 and the AM01S that launched in August. While those three leant heavily on a retro aesthetic, the AM03 abandons this for what Ayaneo describes as:
a masterpiece that perfectly combines artistic design and powerful performance.
In practical terms, the AM03 utilises a Core i9-12900H processor from Intel's Alder Lake-H series. Now over four years old, the Core i9-12900H blends 6 P-cores and 8 E-cores with a lowly Xe Graphics G7 (96 EUs) iGPU. Without an eGPU expansion to speak of, the AM03 will struggle to run any recent triple-A game at beyond 720p with low graphics settings enabled.
As the image below shows, Ayaneo has included a smattering of ports too, including DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1 and dual 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet. The Ayaneo AM03 starts at $399 as a barebones unit without any RAM or storage installed. Alternatively, Ayaneo offers 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage variants for $499.
