It has been a while since Ayaneo discussed its mini-PC division. Arguably, the AM0 series remains a fledgling offshoot even eighteen months after its initial debut. While the AM01 and AM02 (curr. $599 on Amazon) debuted in late 2023, Ayaneo has not released any models in the intervening period.
Instead, it refreshed the pair with new lower prices last year amid teasing the AM01S. Despite appearing over a year ago, Ayaneo has not set a launch date for the latter either, even after announcing an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 upgrade for the same device in March.
Earlier this week, the AM01S reappeared during the company's latest public strategic sharing sessions. As far as we can tell, nothing about the mini-PC has changed since earlier this year. Consequently, the AM01S will be available with a choice between AMD's Ryzen 7 8745HS, Ryzen 7 8845HS, Ryzen 9 8945HS and the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370.
However, Ayaneo has now added a limited edition B-Duck finish that has graced some of its recent products. Moreover, the company has also confirmed that AM01S pre-orders will start in August. Exactly when at this stage remains unclear for the time being, though.
Ayaneo has started teasing the AM03, too. Unfortunately, the company has revealed next to nothing about this new model yet beyond showcasing it in two colours. Apparently coming soon, Ayaneo also mentioned the AM04 during its livestream before removing any reference to it in subsequent videos. Please see the images and video below for more details.
