AYANEO has expanded its AM0 mini-PC series, as part of today's AYANEO REMAKE product sharing session. To recap, the company has released the AM01 (curr. $280 on Amazon) and AM02 so far, the former of which it recently refreshed with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800U APU. By contrast, the AM02 has only ever been available with the Ryzen 7 7840HS.
Now, it has revealed the AM01S, which it intends to sell with Ryzen 7 8845HS and Ryzen 9 8945HS APUs. Ultimately, all three APUs feature Zen 4 CPU cores and RDNA 3-based iGPUs. As such, little separates the Ryzen 7 8845HS and Ryzen 9 8945HS from the older Ryzen 7 7840HS. Still, the Ryzen 7 8845HS and Ryzen 9 8945HS are currently the most powerful Hawk Point-HS APUs that AMD has released to date.
Additionally, AYANEO will overclock the Ryzen 7 8845HS and Ryzen 9 8945HS to 65 W, a 20 W improvement on their default 45 W TDPs. Moreover, the company will distinguish the AM01S from the AM01 and AM02 with a flip-up display. Although AYANEO has not confirmed display specifications yet, neither the AM01 or AM02 had a real display of any kind. Similarly, the company has not confirmed pricing or a release date yet. Nonetheless, the AM01S will feature the following ports:
- 1x 3.5 mm jack
- 2x 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet
- 1x DC-in
- 2x HDMI
- 2x USB4
- 6x USB Type-A
