Ayaneo extends early bird pricing for Pocket Vert as it moves pre-order to its official store

Just a couple of days after ending its Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign for the Pocket Vert, Ayaneo has now made the handheld available to pre-order through its website. It has also provided a shipping timeframe for orders placed through this channel.

The Pocket Vert can now be pre-ordered from Ayaneo's website, for those who didn't purchase it via Indiegogo. As expected, it is available in two configurations — 8GB RAM + 128GB and 12GB RAM + 256GB. Buyers will be able to purchase the handheld in Midnight Black, Moon White, and Lava Red; although the Lava Red version is exclusive to the 12GB RAM version.

Surprisingly, Ayaneo says it is retaining the early bird pricing from Indiegogo, albeit for a limited time. This means the base model can be purchased for $269 instead of its $339 final retail price, while the 12GB RAM version is available for $349 instead of $419. The Lava Red 12GB RAM version is also available for $369, instead of $439. Ayaneo says the early bird pricing will be available for just two weeks.

Shipping of the Pocket Vert will begin by the end of January, starting with those who backed the campaign on Indiegogo. Pre-orders made from the website are estimated to begin shipping in early February.
