After publishing the full specs of the Pocket Max, Mangmi has released a video showing the upcoming handheld in use. The over 2-minute long video shows the Pocket Max's PC game streaming ability.
Posted on YouTube, the video starts off with the Mangmi Pocket Max streaming the popular video game, Cyberpunk 2077. The in-game overlay performance monitor shows the game is streaming at a 1920 × 1080 resolution and at over 100 FPS.
The streaming resolution is the same for Black Myth: Wukong, but the FPS is much higher as it crosses 140 FPS. The video also shows Hades II reaching a similar FPS. All of these shouldn't be surprising since the Mangmi Pocket Max has a 7-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
While PC game streaming is a capability of several handhelds, it is a feature that isn't entirely dependent on the device itself but also relies on your network connection. However, a device with a great display and a high refresh rate will elevate the experience.
In addition to PC game streaming, the video also shows us the three color options the Mangmi Pocket Max will be available in. This is the first time all three colors have appeared in a live video. The Pocket Max will be released in Retro GB, Black, and White. Since there's only one SKU, no color will be exclusive to a certain configuration.
Mangmi is yet to announce a launch date and pricing details for the Pocket Max.
