The AMD Ryzen Z1-powered variant of the Asus ROG Ally didn't receive nearly as many accolades as its Ryzen Z1 Extreme sibling. It was, in part, due to Asus launching it on the down-low months after its initial announcement. Nonetheless, it still has everything that makes the ROG Ally great, such as its 7-inch 120 Hz screen, 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB of storage. The vanilla Ryzen Z1 ROG Ally has now become more affordable than ever at Best Buy.

One can purchase the handheld gaming console for just US$399. This is a full US$200 lower than its asking price of US$599. Those who don't mind an open-box product can save even more and snag the ROG Ally with the AMD Ryzen Z1 for just US$299. It might not look nearly shiny, though, but any defects will still be covered by warranty.

Similarly, the Asus ROG Ally with the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme has also received a US$100 price cut, bringing its price down to US$599, which can go as low as US$470 for open-box products.
