Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced price leaked ahead of grand reveal

As one of gaming’s worst-kept secrets in recent months, we know just about everything there is to know about Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. Ubisoft will show off the current-gen remaster of the iconic title later today (April 23), and the game is slated for a July 9 launch. Now, prolific leaker BillBil-kun has revealed how much it costs—and it’s a bit on the higher side. It seems to be legit because Amazon France briefly leaked the Collector's Edition before taking it down.
A copy of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced will cost $59.99. That’s essentially new game money for what is a thirteen-year-old game. Whether it is worth that price depends solely on how many quality-of-life changes Ubisoft brings to the well-revered game. Unfortunately, the few seconds of leaked trailer footage don’t reveal much. Apparently, Ubisoft showed off a 30-minute trailer to media insiders, so there could still be some surprises.
Moving on to the Collector’s Edition, it costs $199.99 and gets you a statue, some books, an in-game map and a copy of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Deluxe Edition, complete with in-game cosmetics. The biggest question that nobody has the answer to, however, is whether the Collector’s Edition ships with a physical game disk. In a different time, that would be obvious, but given the aversion some studios have to physical media, it is a very valid question.
