Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced finally has a release date

After several months of speculation and reports of its existence, Ubisoft confirmed early last month that the Assassin's Creed Black Flag remake will be called Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. Now, the release date for the game seems to have leaked, even though the official announcement has been reportedly pushed back by a week.
It was expected that Ubisoft will announce Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced on April 16 during the PlayStation State of Play event but that didn’t happen. Insider Gaming reports that the announcement was pushed by a week, but the media and content creators saw a 30-minute presentation, Insider Gaming being one of them. It also states that the game will be released on July 9, so there’s still a few months to go.
The publication says the game has been completely reworked and that it looks great. Also, the Edward Kenway figurine will be available for purchase at some point.
If the information is accurate, we should get to see a trailer, if not gameplay, sometime next week. That being said, Ubisoft has not confirmed anything. Along with sharing the title of the game last month, Ubisoft also shared a roadmap for the future including information on Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Codename Hexe, and Codename Invictus. On top of that, the company is also working on Assassin’s Creed Jade and a Netflix live-action series.
