Splatoon Raiders gets a launch date alongside gameplay trailer

Nintendo has released a new trailer showing gameplay and revealing the launch date for Splatoon Raider, the latest entry in the Splatoon series. The new video game will launch as an exclusive for the Nintendo Switch 2 system.
Unlike previous Splatoon games which are primarily shooters with a focus on multiplayer gameplay, Splatoon Raiders is described as a single-player-focused game. The game still has players choosing from a plethora of weapons, but they will be taking on enemies called Salmonids while scouring different islands for treasure. For those who want to play with friends, Splatoon Raiders will have support for local multiplayer and online play.
The over 3-minute long video shared by Nintendo highlights the gameplay of the new title. Players will be able to customize their character and craft new ink-splattering weapons before and after a treasure raid. The video also reveals that Splatoon Raiders will launch on July 23, 2026 only for the Nintendo Switch 2 (available for $499 on Amazon). The game is already available to pre-order on the Nintendo eShop and the Nintendo website.
Splatoon Raiders will cost $49,99 for the digital edition of the game which has an estimated file size of 20GB. There will also be a physical version that costs $59.99 which buyers can also pre-order from Amazon.
