Control Ultimate Edition arrives for iPhones and iPads, and it's affordable too

While fans of Remedy Entertainment may be looking forward to the release of their next game, Control Resonant, the Finnish video game developer apparently has been working hard to bring its prequel to more platforms. Thankfully, it has succeeded as Control Ultimate Edition is now officially available for iPhones and iPads.
The announcement that the award-winning video game is now available on the iPhone and iPad was made on its social media channels. According to the post, this version of the game was specifically built for mobile devices as it has support for touch controls and is also great on smaller screens.
Remedy Entertainment also revealed that the user interface and gameplay systems such as aiming and puzzles were reworked to support touch devices. It also supports Ray Tracing on supported hardware and is compatible with controllers too. So a mobile controller such as the GameSir G8 Plus MFi (available on Amazon for $79.99) should work.
Control Ultimate Edition is not just available on mobile, it also has a reasonable price tag of $4.99. In addition, if you purchase it on mobile, you can also play it on Mac. According to some users, if you already own it on Mac, you won't be charged even though the price tag shows. However, you will get a pop up once you tap on it that it is free.
Control Ultimate Edition for iPhone and iPad has a file size of about 45GB and is only compatible with devices running iOS 26.1 or newer, and that are powered by an A17 Pro chip or later. This means the iPhone 15 Pro and newer devices are supported.
