The PlayStation Store Summer Sale will kick off tomorrow, on July 15, offering discounts on hundreds of games. The sale will remain live for over three weeks and conclude on August 12.

Sony has been facing growing backlash ever since it announced that it will stop releasing physical PlayStation games starting in January 2028. Many fans hoped the company would reconsider its decision after the negative reaction from the community, but so far, Sony has shown no signs of changing course. And amid the ongoing criticism surrounding physical discs, the company has announced a major PlayStation Store Summer Sale focused entirely on digital games.

According to the official announcement, the PlayStation Store Summer Sale will begin tomorrow, July 15, offering discounts of up to 75% on hundreds of games. While the complete list of deals will only be revealed once the sale goes live, Sony has already confirmed around 389 games that will be included in the promotion.

Some of the confirmed titles include Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Assassin's Creed Shadows, God of War Ragnarok, Ghost of Yotei Digital Deluxe Edition, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered - Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil Requiem, Red Dead Redemption 2, and more.

Sony also confirmed that the Summer Sale won't remain the same throughout its run. On July 27, the company will refresh the promotion by adding new deals and replacing some of the existing discounts. This means players may want to check the store more than once during the event to avoid missing newly added offers. The Summer Sale will remain live until August 12, so PlayStation users will have over three weeks to take advantage of the discounts.
