PlayStation Summer sale brings up to 90% off, Resident Evil Requiem, Saros, Ghost of Yotei discounted

Amidst all the backlash for killing physical game discs, the PlayStation Summer sale brings some major discounts on games on the PS Store. Some AAA titles are up to 90% off, and newer games like Resident Evil Requiem have also been discounted, but not by as much.
Resident Evil Requiem
Starting with newer titles, Resident Evil Requiem has been discounted by 20%, putting it at $56 for the standard edition and $64 for the Deluxe Edition. The ninth instalment in the franchise follows FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft as she confronts the horrors of Wrenwood Hotel, where her mother was murdered several years ago. She is joined by franchise regular and veteran agent Leon S. Kennedy in her investigation.
Saros
The Digital Deluxe Edition of Saros is 25% off, bringing the price down to $60. The game follows a Soltari corporate enforcer named Arjun Devraj as he searches for his wife, Nitya, on a hostile planet called Carcosa. Arjun then discovers that he’s trapped in an endless loop where he can’t die. Saros has been developed by Housemarque, the developers behind Returnal, and the new game features similar gameplay to the 2021 title.
The most significant discount is on NBA 2K26, with the game listed for just $7, a 90% discount. Battlefield 6 is also majorly discounted, as it is listed for half price, $35. The PS5 exclusive Ghost of Yotei Digital Deluxe Edition is 25% off and going for $60. For fighting game fans, Invincible VS is 20% off, going for $40.
Split Fiction has been discounted by 35%, and It Takes Two, also by the same developer – Hazelight Studios – is on sale for just $12. Cyberpunk 2077 is going for just $20 while the Phantom Liberty expansion is listed for $18.
There are over 3,300 full games included in the sale and over 6,300 discounted items in total. The Summer sale ends August 12.
