Vivo is tipped to not merely continue its line of folding Android smartphones in 2024, but to augment it with its first ever Pro variant this year. Now, both the X Fold3 Pro and its vanilla sibling are backed to launch with improved displays, "large" batteries and a lighter design. Then again, other on-trend upgrades might be exclusive to the higher-end version.

Leaks pointing to a direct successor for Vivo's current premium foldable flagship have become intertwined with less straightforward rumors of an X Fold3 Pro that will join it at launch. Now, legendary leaker Digital Chat Station insists that it does in fact exist, and that it will differ from the plain 3 in a number of potentially significant ways.

The Vivo X Fold3 Pro (or "V2337A") is now said to be the only member of its series to launch with a periscope zoom lens, and to augment 100W wired charging with the OEM's 50W wireless charging tech. It may also have at least 1 ultrasonic fingerprint sensor whereas the 3 (or "V2303A") will not.

On the other hand, the X Fold3 series is also now backed to launch with 50MP main cameras and higher-resolution displays compared to its predecessor in 2024. They may also be the lightest devices of their line yet, even though they are tipped to pack sizeable "Blue Sea" batteries.
