Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 design leaks with upgraded hinge

The enormously reliable leaker @OnLeaks has already published high-resolution renders on MyMobiles that are said to show the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8. At first glance, the foldable flagship smartphone looks almost confusingly similar to the Galaxy Z Flip7 ($1,019 on Amazon), but there is one big difference in the dimensions.
The Galaxy Z Flip8 measures 166.8 x 75.4 x 6.6 millimeters when unfolded and 85.4 x 75.4 x 13.2 millimeters when folded. This means that the foldable phone is practically the same thickness when unfolded, but half a millimeter thinner when folded - a clear indication that Samsung has improved the design of the hinge to reduce the gap between the two halves of the screen.
As usual, Samsung uses a 4.1-inch secondary display and a 6.9-inch main display. The two rear cameras and the LED flash are located in three punch holes in the top left corner of the secondary display, which means that the main camera and the ultra-wide-angle camera can also be used to take selfies or group selfies. The flat frame is made of metal.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 is expected to be officially unveiled in July. Rumors suggest that the Galaxy Z Flip8 will be a rather modest upgrade, as Samsung is expected to install a 4,300 mAh battery, a 50 megapixel main camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 10 MP selfie camera as before. The smartphone should at least receive an upgrade to a newer processor, presumably the Samsung Exynos 2600.
