Trump T1 Phone gets a new design and different specs - again
The Trump T1 Phone was officially launched in June 2025, and has been available to pre-order since then. The smartphone costs $499, and a deposit of $100 is due when placing a pre-order. The launch was a success, although buyers do not receive the smartphone that was originally promised.
Contrary to what was originally advertised, the Trump T1 Phone is not manufactured in the USA and the design has since been swapped for a gold version of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra ($1,299 on Amazon) or the iPhone 16 Pro, a delivery date has still not been confirmed almost a year later, and even the specifications have changed several times. In February, Trump Mobile finally revealed the supposedly final design. Now a customized version of this design is shown on the official product page together with specifications that have been changed again.
The latest incarnation of the Trump T1 Phone looks like a conventional mid-range smartphone with a metal frame, but the color scheme and the US flag on the back are particularly unusual. Both the design and the advertised specifications suggest that it is a modified HTC U24 Pro from the year 2024.
Although Trump Mobile advertises a slightly larger 5,000 mAh battery, which can be charged more slowly at just 30 watts, the rest of the features are the same as the U24 Pro, including a 50 MP selfie camera, 50 MP main camera, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and 50 MP telephoto camera with 2x zoom. The 6.78-inch AMOLED display achieves a frame rate of 120 Hz. Trump Mobile advertises an unspecified Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series chip. It remains to be seen whether the specifications are final this time and whether the Trump T1 Phone will ever be delivered.
