Sony US has just launched the limited series Signature collection of its Vaio series of laptops. This new collection offers the users more options for customization and it comes in tempting, attractive, and eye catching designs that help the user set his/her own fashion statement. The new VAIO Signature Collection includes unique models within VAIO’s CS, SR, P, Z, and TT series of notebooks. They would be available through Sony Style.

The Glossy Black P series Signature Collection is more powerful than before as it now features a 256GB SSD drive and a new 1.86GHz Intel Atom Z540 processor. Other features include 2GB RAM, GPS, Webcam, and an 8-inch Xbrite-Eco LCD display.

The Electric Blue TT is made of an electric blue carbon fiber that makes it lightweight while being super durable. It has an 11.1-inch Xbrite-Eco LCD display which is powered by the 1.6GHz Intel Core2 Duo processor and up to 250GB of HDD or SSD. It also has a Blu-ray drive.

The Champagne Gold SR runs on 2.93GHz Intel Core2 Duo processor with up to 500GB of HDD or 256GB of SSD for storage. It has a 13.3-inch Xbrite-Eco LCD display and a Blu-ray drive.

The Vaio Z series has a refreshing and attractive Kaleidoscope design which was made after many efforts by the R&D team. First, they deployed a direct printing technology where an ink nozzle applies UV CURABLE HARD-COAT ink to the top panel and then applies a UV light to harden the ink. In order to be in line with the “Green” movement, the designers used a non-Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) ink and Ozone-free UV lamp. Because the ink is applied directly to the top panel, the ink needed to withstand applied pressure, rubbing and moisture such as human sweat (gross). To increase the durability and help with moisture (like sweat, gross) they applied one additional clear coating to the top panel. All these things come at a price of $2749. This model can be upgraded with a 512GB SSD drive.

Another interesting laptop model is the Crocodile Vaio CS which has a shimmering faux crocodile skin cover with a golden trim. It is available in three colors: brown, pink, and red. It has a 14.1-inch Xbrite-Eco LCD display, 2.8GHz Intel Core2 Duo processor, supports up to 8GB RAM, 400GB HDD, and a Blu-ray player.

The Deep Violet CS looks quite flashy and funky due to its superb violet finish. It is powered by a 2.1GHz Intel Core2 Duo processor and 4GB of RAM. It also has a 256MB dedicated Nvidia GPU, 320GB HDD, and a 14.1-inch Xbrite-Eco LCD display.

All these models are limited in number so one has to hurry up in order to take home one.
