There are plenty of manufacturers who equip their notebooks with SSDs instead of  normal SATA/PATA hard disks. Normally, these solid state drives offer a maximum disk size of 64 GB. Now Toshiba upgraded its Dynabook SS RX1, and it is possible to equip this laptop with a 128 GB SSD.

Furthermore, the notebook offers a 12.1" display with a resolution of 1.280 x 800 pixles, and an Intel 945 GMS is installed as well. An Intel Core 2 Duo U7600 CPU with 1.6 GHz, and 2 GB RAM are built in too. Choosing between two different batteries is possible; the smaller one provides a battery runtime up to 6.2 hours, the other one a runtime up to 12.5 hours.

The Dynabook SS RX1 is going to be available in Japan next month, and costs ¥400,000 (approximately € 2.600,-).
