OCZ presents cheap solid state drive

The manufacturer OCZ introduced a low priced solid state drive. The flash drive will be available with 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB.
Core Series SATA II 2.5 SSD
OCZ expands its product line by new solid state drives. Those are part of the new Core Series SATA II 2.5” SSD’s and the manufacturer says that they shall be the first affordable solid state drives.
The drives offer a disk size of 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB and they cost $ 169, $ 259 and $ 479. This price is low relating to other solid state drives.
The SSD’s are manufactured with NAND flash technology and reach a writing speed of 80 – 93 MB per second and a reading speed of 120 – 143 MB per second.
We don’t know yet when those drives will be available.
