New Antigravity drone? Mysterious announcement sent out for October 20

Yesterday, October 15, Antigravity, the company behind the A1 360-degree video drone, sent out a mysterious announcement: a long banner in the background featuring blurred objects, along with several textual clues.
“The A1 becomes more” is the cryptic headline. Below it, the tagline reads “Get Ready for the next chapter of flight,” accompanied by the announcement of “three new innovations for the Antigravity A1” that are supposed to change the way people fly the A1. The banner at the bottom features three phrases: “Eyes on the adventure,” “Fly your way,” and “Link to the sky.”
What can we infer from this?
The orange cross-shaped object in the upper background looks very much like a drone, probably the A1 itself. At first glance, you might think a new drone is about to be unveiled, perhaps an A2. However, we consider that unlikely, as the announcement seems to focus specifically on the A1 and a new way of flying it. We suspect new accessories are more likely.
The blurred object in the lower background looks somewhat like a smartwatch, with what appears to be a wristband. This brings to mind something Antigravity already unveiled at IFA in Berlin on September 4, 2026: a cellular module that adds a 4G connection via eSIM, intended to improve transmission when interference or obstacles are present. Since this has already been announced, it doesn't necessarily have to be one of the three new innovations, but it could point in a particular direction (“Link to the sky”).
The smartwatch-like device could also hint at some kind of GPS beacon or tracker. The community had speculated on Reddit about a “Follow Me Bundle” following an accidental leak at Best Buy. In other Reddit discussions, users have expressed a desire for a conventional remote controller with two control sticks, rather than relying exclusively on the existing motion-controlled grip.

So what are the three new innovations?
If we had to guess, the Follow Me Bundle (“Eyes on the adventure”), featuring a GPS beacon in the form of a smartwatch, would definitely be one of the innovations. That leaves two more. The Best Buy listing explicitly mentions a Ring Remote with “Drag-to-Fly” controls. This would let users control the drone through natural hand movements and influence its flight direction or framing (“Fly your way”). The additional 4G connection via eSIM could be the third innovation (“Link to the sky”). However, there may also be improvements to the Vision Goggles, the in-flight display, image quality, or the flight view. We'll be keeping a close eye on this.
