Casio’s new diver watches with aluminum bezels are finally available to buy in the UK
Last month, Casio listed the MTD-145D series watches on its UK website. Now, these latest diver watches are officially available for purchase via Casio UK’s website. The MTD-145D collection includes a total of three models, namely, the MTD-145D-1AV, the MTD-145D-2AV, and the MTD-145D-3AV, and each priced at £85.
The dial and bezel color are two of the key differences between the three models. Speaking more precisely, the MTD-145D-1AV has a classic black design, while the MTD-145D-2AV and the MTD-145D-3AV models ship with blue and green finishes, respectively. Dimensionally, these watches measure 47.5 x 43.2 x 10.3 mm (1.87 x 1.70 x 0.41 inches) and weigh 128 grams (4.51 ounces).
The MTD-145D lineup features a stainless steel case and bracelet complemented by a rotating aluminum bezel. The bracelet has a one-touch three-fold clasp system for a secure fit. Furthermore, the watches are rated for only 50 m (5 bar) water resistance, meaning they can only be suitable for light water sports activities such as snorkeling and swimming, but not scuba diving.
A mineral glass crystal covers the dial, which is said to provide basic scratch resistance. Speaking of powered things, Casio’s latest diver watches use a quartz movement with an advertised accuracy of ±20 seconds per month. A SR920SW powers the watch, and according to Casio, it offers up to three years of battery life. Moreover, you get a simple and minimalist dial design, featuring a date window, hour markers, and three hands.
