Casio’s new gold-tone G-Shock collab watch now available in more markets

Last month, Casio officially unveiled the G-Shock DW-5600BEP-9 BlackEyePatch collaboration model in the UK. Now, the brand’s latest G-Shock limited-edition model is available for purchase in the UK, priced at £130. The DW-5600BEP-9 is the third collaboration between Casio’s G-Shock line and a Tokyo-based streetwear brand, BlackEyePatch.
The watch retains the familiar design of the iconic DW-5600 (curr. available at $110 on Amazon), featuring a bio-based resin-made gold-tone bezel and band paired with a black face. There’s BlackEyePatch branding on the dial and also engraved on the case back. The watch ships with a custom-designed box with the BlackEyePatch mark on the lid and “time is money” printed across the packaging.
Dimensionally, it measures 48.9 x 42.8 x 13.4 mm (1.93 x 1.69 x 0.53 inches) and weighs around 53 grams (1.86 ounces). Furthermore, the G-Shock DW-5600BEP-9 offers a solid list of practical timekeeping features, which include a 24-hour countdown timer, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a full auto calendar (to the year 2099), and a white super illuminator backlight with afterglow. The watch offers an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month. On top of these features, it’s shock resistant and boasts 200 m (20 bar) of water resistance.
A CR2026 powers the digital watch, which is said to offer five years of battery life. To recall, the Japanese watchmaker introduced the BlackEyePatch collaboration model internationally in the first week of September. Alongside the UK, the watch is now already available in the US and Japan for $165.
