Limited edition Citizen watches with stained glass dials launching soon

Citizen has revealed two new limited edition xC Basic Collection watches in Japan. The timepieces are said to be designed on the theme “rose window” (machine translated), with a stained glass-like pattern on the dial.
The Citizen ES9391-62X has a deep red oblong watch face. The stainless steel casing and strap have a silver tone Duratect Platinum surface. Plus, the dial features a lab grown diamond in the six o'clock position. The Citizen ES9437-55X has a similar dial, though with rose gold colored plating on the round stainless steel casing and the accompanying band. The model also has lab grown diamonds, this time at the 10 o'clock position.
Both of these new Citizen watches use the H060 caliber and feature three analog hands. There is a mixture of Roman numeral and baton indexes and a basic date display on the dial. On top of this, these Eco Drive watches can be powered by any light source, and radio control keeps them highly accurate.
In Japan, the Citizen xC Basic Collection ES9391-62X watch retails for ¥86,900 (~$548) and is limited to 1,200 units worldwide. The ES9437-55X model is slightly cheaper at ¥82,500 (~$520) and is limited to 1,100 units worldwide. Both timepieces are set for release in Japan on November 5 2026.
