Citizen's new titanium NK0040-58P brings a gorgeous champagne dial to the mechanical Promaster Air

Citizen has added a third dial to its mechanical Promaster Air, and Canada got it first. The NK0040-58P is listed on Citizen Canada at CA$1,195, roughly $839, with a champagne dial on a Super Titanium bracelet. It isn't in stock yet, so the page gives you a notification sign-up, that's it.
We've been tracking this Promaster Sky line for nearly a week. The blue NK0040-58L and black NK0044-57E first launched in Europe at €599 each in late September, and the blue reached Citizen's US store on Tuesday at $895. The champagne is the first of the three to show up in Canada, and the first with a Canadian price of any kind.
CA$1,195 works out to about $839. This undercuts the American listing by roughly 6%. Both figures exclude sales tax, so all in all, this is quite a fair comparison.
Apart from the dial color (and of course, regional availability), the watch is unchanged. The case is 40 mm Super Titanium in a silver tone, the bezel carries a slide rule for flight calculations, and the crystal is sapphire with an anti-reflective coating. Water resistance is 200 m, and the bracelet is Super Titanium too, closing on a fold-over clasp with a hidden push button.
Powering the watch is the automatic 8310 caliber, with three hands, a date, hacking seconds and a 60-hour power reserve. Citizen tags the listing as new and as an exclusive, which on its own store usually means channel rather than market.
Regarding the movement: Citizen Canada and Citizen US both call it the 8310. Citizen Europe listed the same watch with the 8314. The published figures are identical either way, so this looks to be a naming inconsistency. We have reached out to Citizen for clarification, and will update this piece accordingly.
