Seiko’s new Cocktail Time GMT watches are finally up for grabs worldwide

Seiko’s September collection has finally started hitting the shelves. Following the recent global rollout of the new 5 Sports SKX automatic lineup and Speedtimer Solar Chronographs, the Japanese watchmaker is now making three previously announced Presage Cocktail Time models available to buyers, including the HCB004 and HCB005, which were originally introduced in September.
The third model is the HCB006, a limited edition piece announced in August as part of Seiko’s 145th Anniversary collection.
All three watches are now available for purchase in the US, the UK, the EU, India, and other markets via Seiko Boutiques and authorized retailers. As for the pricing, the HCB004 costs $650 / £580 / €670, while the HCB005 will set you back $650 / £590 / €680. The limited HCB006 is slightly cheaper at $625 / £540 / €620.
The Presage Cocktail Time collection is one of Seiko’s more distinctive dress-watch offerings, built around the idea of translating cocktails into watch design. Its signature glossy, radial-patterned dials are meant to evoke light reflecting through a cocktail glass, while elongated hour markers recall cocktail-stirring tools and the stems of cocktail glasses.
The HCB004 takes its cues from the Daiquiri, the classic Cuban cocktail, and is the most traditional-looking of the trio. The off-white dial features the signature sunburst-like texture, and it’s paired with ayellow-gold-colored stainless-steel case and matching bracelet for a decidedly dressy look.
Next up, the HCB005 channels the Corcovado cocktail, a tequila and blue curaçao twist on the classic Margarita. Its deep blue dial is paired with a rose-gold-colored stainless-steel case and brown leather strap, creating a warmer, more dramatic look.
The HCB006 is the odd one out, having originally been announced in August as part of Seiko’s 145th Anniversary collection. Its purple dial is inspired by “Edo Murasaki,” an original cocktail created in collaboration with STAR BAR owner Hisashi Kishi. The watch is limited to 6,000 pieces worldwide and sports silver hands and applied indices and a gold-colored GMT hand.
All three watches are identical in terms of specs and dimensions, featuring a 40.5mm stainless steel case and Seiko’s automatic 4R34 movement with a 41-hour power reserve and a 24-hour hand for tracking a second time zone.
