Seiko debuts new Presage Cocktail Time automatic GMTs with Daiquiri and Corcovado dials

Two more watches are joining Seiko's Cocktail Time GMT roster. The HCB004J takes the Daiquiri, the Cuban original, and the HCB005J the Corcovado, named after the Rio de Janeiro landmark. Seiko Japan lists both at 92,400 yen (~$603) including the country's 10% consumption tax, or 84,000 yen (~$547) before it, with an October 2026 release; Japanese dealers are taking pre-orders against a 9 October date.

Both sit in the "Cocktail Time Around the World" GMT sub-theme, which means each colorway is based on a drink from a different country. The HCB004J sets a white dial with a stamped radial pattern inside a gold-coloured case and matching bracelet. The HCB005J pairs a deep blue dial with a pink gold-colored case on a brown cowhide strap. Seiko's spec sheets give stainless steel as the case material for each, so the gold tones are finishes rather than materials.

The main Presage recipe is unchanged. Caliber 4R34 powers both: automatic with manual winding, 24 jewels, an accuracy band of +45 to -35 seconds a day, roughly 41 hours of reserve, and a caller-style 24-hour hand that steps in one-hour jumps. The case measures 40.5 mm across, 12.8 mm thick and 47.5 mm lug to lug, under a box-shaped Hardlex crystal, with a see-through screw case back and 5 bar water resistance.

The HCB004J's bracelet closes on a one-push butterfly clasp, fits up to 215 mm and weighs 137 g. The strap-mounted HCB005J uses a one-push three-fold clasp, reaches 195 mm and weighs 73 g.

Prices in other regions have not been announced. At Wednesday's rate near 153.7 yen to the dollar, the pre-tax 84,000 yen converts to about $547; Seiko's US site currently asks $625 for the SSK041, one of the 2024 references that opened the line.
