Two new affordable dive-style Casio watches with ana-digi dials on the way

After refreshing its beloved Duro line with a fabric strap and Arabic numerals, Casio is gearing up to launch two new affordable dive-style watches. Part of the brand’s analog-digital AMW series, the watches are reportedly set to arrive in December alongside the octagonal AMW-920 models we covered a few days ago.
The models in question are the AMW-910-1A and AMW-910D-1A. While Casio has yet to announce either watch officially, both have appeared at Vietnamese retailer G-Shock Hai Phong, revealing their designs and key specifications ahead of their expected debut in December.
The AMW-910 models take a familiar dive-watch silhouette and pair it with the convenience of a digital display. Both feature a chunky stainless steel case, a black bezel with oversized white minute markings, and a textured black dial with prominent luminous-looking hour markers and silver-tone hands.
A small digital window at six o’clock displays the day and date, with additional information and functions tucked into the surrounding display. Although not explicitly confirmed in the spec sheet, the bezel appears to be fixed rather than rotatable, making these more dive-inspired everyday watches than proper dive timers.
The two models are otherwise identical, with the AMW-910-1A featuring a black resin strap and the AMW-910D-1A arriving on a stainless steel bracelet. Both measure 52.9 x 47.5 x 12.5 millimeters and carry 100-meter water resistance, according to the retailer’s listings. That’s far less than the 200-meter rating found on Casio’s Duro line, so don’t mistake these for serious dive watches.
Under the hood, the watches use Casio’s module 5574, with world time across 29 time zones, a stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer, three daily alarms, and an LED light with afterglow. They also include a telephone directory capable of storing up to 30 entries. Casio estimates battery life at 10 years on a CR2025 cell.
Casio hasn’t officially confirmed anything just yet. There's no word on pricing either, but with a December debut reportedly on the cards, we won't have to wait long to learn more about these analog-digital watches.
