Dell launches Nvidia RTX Spark laptop with 18-core CPU, 3.2K 120Hz OLED display and 99 Wh battery

The XPS 16 Creator Edition brings Nvidia’s RTX Spark platform to Dell’s XPS lineup. It joins other RTX Spark laptops such as the Asus ProArt P16 and is aimed at creative work and local AI tasks.
We previously covered the XPS 16 Creator Edition when Dell first revealed the RTX Spark-powered laptop at Computex 2026. The company has now confirmed its retail configuration, pricing and availability.
The XPS 16 Creator Edition uses an 18-core Nvidia N1X chip with 5,120 GPU cores, along with 32 GB of unified LPDDR5X memory and a 512 GB PCIe SSD. Nvidia's RTX Spark platform scales up to 20 CPU cores, 6,144 GPU cores and 128 GB of unified memory.
It comes with a 16-inch 3.2K Tandem OLED touchscreen. It has a 3,200 x 2,000 resolution and a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The screen supports HDR True Black 600, covers the full DCI-P3 color range and has a Delta E below 2. Dell also says it is Pantone Verified.
The laptop is 17.8 mm thick and weighs about 2.02 kg (4.45 lb). Dell uses an aluminum body made with CNC machining, along with a glass touchpad.
Port selection includes three USB4 ports with DisplayPort 2.1 and Power Delivery, along with HDMI 2.1b, a full-size SDXC v7.1 card reader and a 3.5 mm audio jack. On the wireless side, the XPS 16 supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0.
Like other RTX Spark laptops, the XPS 16 uses a unified memory architecture that allows the CPU and GPU to access the same memory pool. This setup can benefit workloads that require large amounts of data to be shared between the processor and graphics hardware.
The XPS 16 is also entering the market alongside other RTX Spark creator laptops, including the Asus ProArt P16, MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI. Asus has already launched its 16-inch model globally with up to a 20-core Grace CPU, 6,144-core Blackwell GPU, 128 GB of unified memory and 2 TB of storage.
The XPS 16 is slightly heavier than the 1.77 kg (3.9 lb) ProArt P16. Dell's 99 Wh battery is also slightly smaller than the ProArt P16's 99.9 Wh unit.
Compared with the Asus ProArt P16, Dell's panel has a lower maximum resolution and HDR brightness. The Asus model offers a 3,840 x 2,400 OLED display with up to 1,600 nits HDR brightness.
Pricing and availability
The Dell XPS 16 Creator Edition is currently available for pre-order at Best Buy for $3,799.99, with the first units expected to arrive on October 16.
