Lenovo releases new budget laptop with up to 32 GB RAM and over 17 hours battery life
Lenovo has released the IdeaPad Vibe 14AGP12 in Europe with AMD Gorgon Point processors. To recap, the 14AGP12 was one of several IdeaPad Vibe laptops that the company presented in September at IFA 2026. As we discussed at the time, Lenovo's $699 starting price seemed more than a passing nod to Apple's MacBook Neo (curr. $689 on Amazon), too.
In summary, the IdeaPad Vibe 14AGP12 can be configured with the Ryzen AI 5 430 or Ryzen AI 7 445. Moreover, Lenovo sells the laptop with a choice of 8 GB, 16 GB, 24 GB of 32 GB of RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB of storage. Also, the 14-inch laptop can be purchased with Bluetooth 5.3/Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4/Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.
A 60 Hz, 400-nit and 1200p IPS display with 45% NTSC colour space coverage is included in all models, though. Similarly, all SKUs ship with a 50 Wh battery, despite Lenovo mentioning a 65 Wh alternative on its Product Specifications Reference (PSREF) website. Still, the IdeaPad Vibe 14AGP12 boasts 17.7-hour runtimes in 1080p local video playback tests at 150 nits.
Pricing starts at £949 in the UK and €999-€1,130 in the Eurozone with a Ryzen AI 5 430, a 256 GB SSD and 16 GB of single-channel RAM. However, one can opt for 8 GB of RAM in Lenovo's configurator, which reduces prices to £799.99 and €799-€969, including taxes. Please see Lenovo's website for more details.
