Lenovo releases new budget laptop in more countries with almost 50% longer battery life than 2025 model

Lenovo has expanded the availability of the IdeaPad Slim 3x 15Q7X11 to more markets. Effectively replacing the IdeaPad Slim 3 15Q8X10 we reviewed last year (curr. $699 on Amazon), the new 15-inch laptop launched in September before reaching East Asia and Southeast Asia a few days ago.
Now, the IdeaPad Slim 3x 15Q7X11 has landed in Europe with Qualcomm's Snapdragon C C11-0100 chipset. Unfortunately, the optional 120 Hz display offered in Asia is missing for now. Instead, the laptop makes do with a 60 Hz IPS alternative that outputs at 1200p with 400 nits peak brightness and a 16:10 aspect ratio.
By contrast, Lenovo continues to include a 50 Wh battery that supports 65 W charging. Reportedly, this battery lasts 33 hours when playing 1080p videos locally at 150 nits, a 78% improvement over a comparably-equipped IdeaPad Slim 3 15Q8X10. With that said, this difference drops to 46% when the latter has been configured with a 60 Wh battery.
The IdeaPad Slim 3 15Q7X11 starts at £660 in the UK as a preconfigured unit with 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD. Moreover, Lenovo is selling a second preconfigured SKU for £690 with 512 GB of storage as the only change.
Meanwhile, Lenovo's new 15-inch laptop starts at €769-€809 in the Eurozone and rises to €809-€849 with 512 GB of storage. The company buries even cheaper SKUs in its configurator, though. For instance, one can drop to 4 GB of RAM for an £80 and €90/€100 saving.
Additionally, one can stay with 8 GB of RAM but remove Lenovo's default M.2 2242 SSD for a £190 and €220/€230 reduction. For reference, taking away an M.2 2242 SSD then equips the IdeaPad Slim 3x 15Q7X11 with 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
As a result, the IdeaPad Slim 3x 15Q7X11 can be purchased for £570 and €669-€699 with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, including taxes. Alternatively, one can configure the 15-inch laptop with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage for £490 and €579-€599. Please see the company's website for more details.
