MSI presents gaming notebooks GX620 and GX720

The manufacturer MSI officially introduced its new 15.4" and 17" laptops GX620 and GX720.

MSI GX620:

The MSI GX620 provides a 15.4-inch display and shows content with a resolution of 1.680 x 1.050 pixels. The installed graphics is an Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT with 512 MB video RAM.

The laptop provides an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and the Intel Centrino 2 chipset. It is possible to equip the notebook with up to 4 GB RAM and a 320 GB hard drive is also included.

MSI installed a DVD-RW drive but it is also possible to get a BluRay drive. A gigabit LAN connector, a wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n adapter and a Bluetooth module provide communication.

Furthermore, a 2 mega pixel webcam, a HDMI connector and a 4-in-1 card reader are built in too.

MSI GX720:

The MSI GX720 is very similar to the GX620. It offers a 17-inch display which provides the WSXGA+ resolution and it is equipped with 4 speakers and a subwoofer instead of two speakers (GX620).

Apart from that, the hardware is identical with the GX620’s hardware.
