Intels sales figures are good
The request for Intel notebook chips is very high and therefore the sales figures in the first half of the year where high too.
The worldwide demand of notebook chipsets made by Intel is very high and the manufacturer ensured success. The company reached record sales of 9.5 billion dollars in the second quarter of 2008. Therefore the sales value increased by 9 percent compared to the second quarter of 2007.
Those record sales increased the profit of the manufacturer as well and the net profit rose by 25 percent.
The laptop CPUs are responsible for this success, because Intel is very prosperous in this section. Therefore, the manufacturer expects to stay as successful as they are in the second half of the year.
