Gigabyte has released another version of Gigabyte M912x TabletPC called Gigabyte M912x Goldenrod (also labeled as the ‘Cafe Book’). Just like the original Gigabyte M912x, Goldenrod is build on Intel 945GSE chipset and powered by a 1.6 GHz Atom processor. It packs a 8.9-inch touchscreen with 1280 x 768 pixels, 1 GB of DDR2 RAM and 160 GB HDD. Other features should include 1.3 MP camera, Epress card slot, three USB 2.0 ports, 3-in-1 card reader, Bluetooth 2.0 support and Wifi b/g as well as ethernet LAN, it is also comes with Microsoft Windows XP Home OS. It weighs 1.3 kg (with 4500 mAh Lithium-ion battery) and measures 235 x 180 x 28~42 mm.

With a starting price of around $700, the M912 is one of the most expensive netbooks.
