The Mediatek MTK 8317T is a cheap SoC for Android smartphones and tablets. It should be based on the Mediatek MT6577 (is recognized as it), but the clock rate of 1.2 GHz is slightly higher. The CPU cores are based on the Cortex-A9 architecture and a PowerVR SGX531 GPU is also built into the core.
