GameSir has introduced another new product, less than a week after it unveiled a special edition version of its Tarantula Pro controller (curr. $69.99 on Amazon). While the Tarantula Pro special edition is a conventional controller, the new GameSir X5s is a telescopic option for smartphones and smaller tablets.
According to GameSir, the X5s contains a few advantages over the X5 Lite. For instance, the former supports Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz connectivity, which the latter lacks. However, GameSir has decided against including a corresponding 2.4 GHz dongle in the box. Moreover, the X5s is compatible with Nintendo's Switch and Switch 2 consoles.
On top of that, the X5s features Hall effect analog triggers, 6-axis gyroscopic controls, dual rumble motors and an 840 mAh battery. Meanwhile, the X5s matches the G8 Plus in many areas too, albeit with a few deficiencies to reflect their price differences. Please see the comparison table below for more details.
The GameSir X5s is available from today for $49.99 in the US and £49.99 in the UK. At launch, GameSir is offering its latest telescopic mobile controller through retailers like Amazon and Best Buy, as well as its own retail platform. Please see GameSir's website for more details.
